Principal Secretary,  Mr. Cyrell Wagunda today met electronic Government Procurement (eGP) System Trainers of Trainees (ToTs) based at their call centre at the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) Towers, Nairobi.

The meeting aimed at apprising the PS on the steps in equipping procurement and supply chain management officers from the various State Departments with the know-how in matters eGP.

PS Wagunda reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the government to ensure that it migrates to electronic procurement which he said is aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency and reducing wastage of taxpayers' resources.

He implored the ToTs to be proactive and be champions of eGP saying the system is long overdue.
