The Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management (PIAM) Mr. Cyrell Wagunda on Monday  27th, October this year, chaired the Directors and Heads of Departments (HODs) monthly meeting at Treasury Building. 

The PS complimented the staff for their continued support to steer the State Department forward towards the realisation of its overall performance.

The meeting discussion centred on Departmental Briefs/ Progress reports, Performance Contract for FY 2024/ 2025 evaluation, FY 2025/26 Performance Contract, Budget Absorption and Medium Term Plan. 

The PS emphasized on the importance of aligning  agreed - upon departmental targets and outputs bearing in mind that these contribute directly to the overall performance of the State Department and the timely and effective delivery of government services to the public.

In her remarks, the Secretary Administration, Dr. Bahati K. Mwita reiterated the need for strategic planning, teamwork, and accountability at all levels to ensure that PIAM not only meets but exceeds its performance expectations in the upcoming fiscal year.

The HoDs were informed that the  21st Cycle Performance Contract for FY 2024/2025 was successfully evaluated last week.
