This morning at the KICC Kenya , The Principal Secretary for State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management, Mr. Cyrell Wagunda attended a high-level consultative meeting between the Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service, Mr. Felix Koskei , and other Principal Secretaries, Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Public Corporations and Parastatals (leadership of Executive Agencies and Government-Owned Enterprises). 
The meeting held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) under the theme; 'Improving Performance; Measuring Impact; and Enhancing Visibility' with regard to a fact-finding self-assessment tool submitted by the public entities (Government Owned Entities).
Mr. Koskei emphasized the deliberate and intentional efforts being applied to transform the public service into a fit-for-purpose, agile and responsive public entity.

He implored the participants to maximise profits in their respective entities and ensure prudent and effective use of public resources.
On his part, PS Wagunda urged the entities to ensure they procure goods and services through the electronic Government Procurement (eGP) System saying it's the only way to ensure transparency and proper utilisation of public resources.
The Deputy Chief of Staff in Charge of Delivery and Government Efficiency in the Executive Office of the President Hon. Eliud Owalo and a host of Principal Secretaries were present.
