The Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management Mr. Cyrell Wagunda today attended the second Retirement Benefits Sector Convention which coincided with the commemoration of 25th anniversary of the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA).

The PS who represented the Cabinet Secretary for the The National Treasury Hon. FCPA John Mbadi as the Chief Guest commended the milestones the Authority has made over the years noting that the overall performance has been on an upward trajectory, with pension assets growing from Ksh40 billion in 2000 to over Ksh. 2.53 trillion in June 2025.
The Convention themed, 'Securing Dignity in Retirement: Lessons From the Past, Strategies for Tomorrow'.
PS Wagunda reiterated  the continued support for RBA to enable fulfilment of it's mandate of safeguarding the retirement benefits.

RBA Board Chair, Mr. Nelson Havi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Charles Machira alongside other officials and stakeholders were present.
