DQM

Diploma in Quality Management (DQM)

The qualification equips students with the expertise to drive excellence in both public and private sectors as well as take up roles in Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Quality Control, Quality Inspection and Standardization amongst others.

To enrol, a candidate must have:

  • A KCSE mean grade C- (Minus), or
  • A CAMS qualification, or
  • Any other certificate recognized by kasneb.
 

DQM is administered on a computer-based platform.

 

The Course Structure

DQM course is administered in three levels

 

Basic Units of Competency

 

   DQM11: Communication Skills
   DQM12: Entrepreneurship
   DQM13: Occupational Safety and Health Skills
   DQM14: Information and Communication Technology
   DQM15: Employability Skills

    DQM21: Statistical Quality Control
    DQM22: Research Techniques

    DQM31: Industrial Attachment (480 hours/3 months)
