About Accreditation
This is the official recognition granted to training institutions that meet the required standards to offer Kasneb qualifications. Accreditation ensures training institutions provide quality training for all Kasneb qualifications.
1.
Application Preparation
Training institutions offering or intending to offer kasneb courses must apply for either:
• Full Accreditation
• Interim Accreditation
Institutions are encouraged to first assess their compliance with accreditation standards before applying.
2.
Interim Accreditation
Complete Form ACF I (available on the kasneb website).
3.
Interim Accreditation
Granted for 18 months (non-renewable). Allows institutions time to address non-compliance issues. Institutions must apply for full accreditation at least 60 days before expiry of the interim certificate
4.
Full Accreditation
Granted for 5 years and is renewable. Renewal applications must be submitted 90 days before expiry of the accreditation certificate
5.
Application Preparation
Send the completed application form, supporting documents, and proof of payment to:

• Nairobi, Kenya
(Accreditation fees are outlined in Part IV of the guidelines)
6.
Acknowledgement
kasneb will acknowledge receipt of the application within 14 days
7.
Institutional Visit & Assessment
kasneb will arrange an assessment visit to authenticate the submitted information. Institutions will be notified of the date, time, and assessment team at least 7 days in advance Assessment will be conducted within 30 days of the application
