Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA)

The course equips students with the technical skills to design, configure, secure, and manage non-complex networks. It blends practical training with professional values, preparing students for roles in IT support, systems administration, and network management.

To enrol for DCNSA, a candidate must have:

  • A KCSE mean grade C- (Minus) or higher, or
  • A CAMS qualification, or
  • Any other certificate recognized by kasneb

DCNSA is administered on a computer-based platform

DCNSA course is administered in three levels

 

LEVEL ONE

   DN12: Communication Skills and Ethics
   DN13: Information Systems Support and Integration
   DN14: Computer Information Systems Applications

 

 

LEVEL TWO

 

    DN21: Computer Networking
    DN22: Network Operating Systems
    DN23: Windows Servers Roles and Features
    DN24: Network Security

 

 

LEVEL THREE

 

       DN31: Network Troubleshooting
       DN32: Network set-up
